Over jou

We are in tireless pursuit of breakthroughs that improve patients' lives. We drive innovation every day to make the world a better place. It was Charles Pfizer's initial vision, and it holds true today. Studies show what we instinctively know: that purpose-driven companies achieve more, are more inventive, draw and keep the best professionals, and know how to unleash the power of those people. Pfizer's purpose—Breakthroughs that improve patients' lives—drives everything we do and shows our passion for building on our legacy as one of the most meaningful contributors of good to the world. Each word in our purpose has importance and embodies the value we strive to bring to patients and society. Our purpose ensures that patients continue to be at the centre of all we do. We fulfill our purpose by finding the best science in the world, working with others in the healthcare system to improve access to our medicines, using digital technologies to enhance our drug discovery and development, as well as patient outcomes, and driving the conversation to push for pro-innovation/pro-patient policies. Every determination we make, and every move we take is done with the patient in mind—and to foster an environment where breakthroughs can thrive.
